Raj Ghat:- The Samadhi (memorial) of Mahatma Gandhi the father of the nation on Ring road outside in Delhi Gate. There is a beautiful garden, around the Samadhi. Here on 31st Jan. 1948 the next day of the of the father of Nation’s assassination his funeral cremation was done. Since then the deserted ground turned up into a national monument. 
Shanti Van:- The Samadhi (memorial) of Pt. Jawaharlal Lal Nehru lies near the Raj Ghat. Here the funeral on India’s first Prime Minister was done.
Shakti Sthal:- It is the place where the funeral on Indira Gandhi was done. At Vir Bhumi the funeral of Rajiv Gandhi was done. At Vijay Ghat the funeral of Lal Bahadur Shastri was done. All these memorials are set in spacious gardens along the riverfront and are the best places for morning walkers. A steady stream of visitors pays homage to the leaders at these memorials, which are all beautifully landscaped.
